Allow the source addresses
Add every public source IP that can send SIP requests to the Agent’s SIP IP access list. Do not add broad networks when the provider supplies stable signaling addresses. After changing the list, read it back and preserve unrelated authorized sources. Removing an address can interrupt inbound calls from that system.Address the Agent
Send the SIP request to the Agent’s Vida SIP URI using its published username or assigned phone number. From identity unless your approved deployment specifies a
different supported identity. Invalid or unauthorized source information can cause the call to be
rejected.
Test the inbound route
- Confirm the exact Agent username or number.
- Confirm every actual signaling source is allowed.
- Place a call from the production-like PBX or carrier.
- Verify the Agent, caller identity, audio, and greeting.
- Test transfer and fallback behavior.
- Inspect Vida logs and the provider’s SIP trace.
